Kenneth Harold Dell, 81, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Morristown Manor in Morristown.
He was born August 18, 1931, in Fort Wayne. Kenneth was the son of William Harold and Rosella (Klinger) Dell.
Survivors include his daughters, Tamalee (husband, Randy) Miller of Fort Wayne, Jody (husband, Michael) Hart of Salt Lake City, Utah and Michelle (husband, Rickey) Robertson of Shelbyville; sisters, Janet (husband, George) Mullenax of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Karen (husband, Hector) Serna of Decatur; grandchildren, Lauren (husband, Kyle) Taylor, Michael Miller, Joel Miller, Brooke (husband, Mark) Fidler, Jared McGowen, Sarah Johnson and Samantha Robertson; great-grandchildren, Emilia Taylor, Audrey Taylor, Michael Fidler, Jacob Fidler, Haylee McGowen, Jack McGowen and Sophie Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ricky Dell; and a sister, Jean Fiedler.
Kenneth graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne in 1949.
He retired in 1996 from Hewlett Packard, where he worked in environmental services.
Kenneth enjoyed golfing, reading and working on his computer.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm, Monday, April 1, 2013 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 704 Morris Avenue in Shelbyville, with Rev. Robert Edward Simpson officiating.
