Kenneth W. “Kenny” Randolph, 79, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.
He was born October 5, 1936, in Boggstown, Shelby County, the son of Elmer and Lora (Pendleton) Randolph. On September 14, 1957, he married his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Plymate, and she survives.
Kenny is also survived by his children, Gary Randolph and wife, Kim, of Rays Crossing, Debra Lee and significant other, David Burton, of Edinburgh, David Randolph and wife, Lori, of Knightstown, and Gale Randolph and significant other, John Couch, of Fountaintown; brothers, Joe Randolph and wife, Vicki, of Illinois; sisters, Linda Taylor and husband, Wilbur, Berne, and Dorothy Peller of Haynes, Georgia, and Marjorie “Penny” Everhart and husband, David, of Old Fort, North Carolina; grandchildren, Garyn Randolph, Gabe Randolph, Nathan Lee, Steven Lee Jr., Tisha DeBaun and husband, Scott, Grant Randolph, Austin Randolph, Jason Houston, Aaron Houston and wife, Hillary, Andrew Carlton and wife, Bethany, and Bethany Carlton; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carol Randolph and Richard Randolph; sister, Louise Schlosser; grandchildren, Kristen and Sarah Randolph.
Kenny was a farmer. He was a foreman at Miller Pipeline for over 20 years, retiring in 2001.
He was a former member of American Legion Post No. 102.
Kenny enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors.
Private family graveside services will be held at Hanover Cemetery.
Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
