Kristina Marie Denny

Kristina Marie Denny, 50, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 8:37 am. She was born to the late Richard L. Denny and Peggy Denny. Kristina graduated from Morristown High School. Family and friends were Kristina’s delight. She had a wonderful gift by putting smiles on peoples and children’s faces. This too shall pass. When the last thing we notice is the color of skin, and the first thing we look for is the beauty within, when the skies and the oceans are clean again, then we shall be free. DeeDee always treated people with unconditional love and respect, she wasn’t judgmental and treated everyone equal. Kristina is survived by her brother; her sister; her stepmother; two daughters, Karlee KayAnn, age 23 and Kendra Joan, age 19; and a granddaughter, Ariana, who was her pride and joy. A gathering of friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
