Lafern "Fern" West

Lafern "Fern" West. 77, of Morristown passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at her residence. Born August 12, 1933, in Somerset, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Wendell and Lyvona (Waddle) Wesley. Survivors include her daughter Debby (husband, Mike) Theobald of Shelbyville; son, Victor (wife, Margo) West of Greenfield; sister, Betty (husband, Terry) Hines of Somerset; grandchildren, Shelley (husband, Chad) McMichael, Michael (wife, Angie)Theobald, Heidi (husband, Jayson) Nunn and Megan (husband, Steve) Kendall; great-grandchildren, Ashtyn, Caitlyn, Trisdyn, Shelby, Kegan, Bobbi, Logan, Emma, Katie, Makenzie and Dalton. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jim Wesley. Ms. West had resided in Morristown since 1952. She enjoyed reading, cross stitch and the Colts and loved to have her grandchildren and great-grandchildren visit. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 10 am Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery.
