Larry Lee Law

Larry Lee Law, 70, of Franklin, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.

He was born December 24, 1952, in Shelbyville, the son of Chet and Martha Jean (Persinger) Law.

Larry is survived by his children, Heather Schulz and Jarrod Law, both of Franklin; brothers, Duiane Law of Needham, Garry Law and wife, Cindy, and Garnet Law, both of Boggstown; sister, Barbara O’Byrne of Franklin; grandchildren, Madyson Law, Avery Schulz, Keegan Law and Braelyn Law; family friend, Jim Mudd and wife, Libby, of Franklin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry graduated in 1971 from Triton Central High School.

He was a dairy farmer and loved his cows, he took pride in continuing the family tradition and retired in 2018.

Larry collected John Deere tractors and enjoyed participating in the Shelby County Fair activities.  He never met a stranger.

He also enjoyed being outside, mowing, bailing hay, going fishing or playing softball.  Larry was an avid reader of the Indianapolis Star.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Zion Cemetery in Shelby County.
