Earl "Larry" Strickler, 60, of Greenfield died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at Regency Place in Greenfield.
Born Sept. 14, 1946, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Earl W. and Susan S. (Gore) Strickler.
Survivors include several cousins, including Kenneth "Jim" King, William "Bill" King and Robert "Bob" King, all of Shelbyville, Joyce Miller of Rushville, Joann Farnsley, Claude Smith and Katherine Sandefur, all of Shelby County, Kay Sue Jacob of Fort Wayne, Paul Thrasher of Arizona, Herbert Glossbrener of California and Justine Johnson of Johnson County.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Strickler had been employed at KCL for 35 years, retiring in June of 2000.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, stationed in Germany.
Mr. Strickler graduated in 1965 from Shelbyville High School.
He was a member of the Universal Church and American Legion Post No. 70 and past member of the Eagles Lodge.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Forest Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. James Farnsley officiating.
