Larry Wissing

Larry Wissing, 53, of Manilla passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Morristown Manor in Morristown. Born September 16, 1955, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Wallace K. and Marjorie I. (Moore) Wissing. Survivors include his sisters, Betty Wissing and Brenda Wissing, both of Manilla; and brothers, Michael (wife, Chris) Wissing, Gary (wife, Mary) Wissing, Lloyd Wissing and his twin borther Terry Wissing, all of Manilla. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patty Wissing. Mr. Wissing had been employed at Rush County Co-oop, Bane Equipment in Rushville and Smith Implements in Greenfield. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Wissing enjoyed fishing and hunting. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Mary M. Lundgren officiating. Interment will be in Bennett Cemetery in Shelby County.
