Laura Hatfield Kemp, 97, of Morristown died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Morristown Manor in Morristown.
Born July 13, 1909, in the Westland area of Hancock County, she was the daughter of Ernest H. and Dora (Binford) Bond. She married Claude Hatfield, and he preceded her in death. She married Robert Kemp, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Dr. Craig (wife, Dr. Nancy) Hatfield of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren, Dr. April (husband, Jon) Maxwell of College Station, Texas, Adrian Hatfield of Ferndale, Mich., and Andrew Hatfield of Salie, Mich.; great-grandchildren, Ella Maxwell and Cole Maxwell; and nephews, Donovan Myer and Roger Myer, both of Indianapolis, and Harold Myer of Morristown.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Ruth Myer.
Mrs. Kemp graduated in 1927 from Morristown High School. She had attended all 80 consecutive annual MHS Alumni banquets since 1927.
She was a member of Morristown Christian Church, where she was a member of Delta Chi Sunday school class.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Hickman officiating and Elder Bill Farmer assisting.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
