Lillian O. Crisp, 90, of Shelbyville, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at her residence.
She was born November 30, 1927, in Moscow, the daughter of Thomas I. Sr. and Gladys Irene (Henderson) McClain. On December 4, 1948, she married Raymond O. Crisp, and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2007.
Lillian is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Crisp of Shelbyville; son, David B. Crisp and wife, Beth, of Greenville, South Carolina; granddaughters, Ashley Crisp and Amy Crisp, both of Greenville, and Rameisha Crisp of Shelbyville.
In addition to Raymond, Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thomas McClain Jr. and Bert McClain; sisters, Margaret Kaster, Anita Blankenship, Virginia Alyea and Betty Elmore; and granddaughter, Stacie Crisp.
Lillian graduated from Fairland High School in 1944.
She was a 50-year member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.
Lillian retired as the office administrative assistant at Knauf Insulation, in 1979.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.
Lillian loved to walk her dogs, especially Boo. She also loved her new granddog, Orsen.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Mount Pisgah Cemetery in Shelbyville.
