Linda Jean Robbins, 62, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, December 3, 2010, as the results of a car accident in Indianapolis.
Born March 18, 1948, in Danville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Dallas and Dora Carrie Lay. She married Christopher C. Robbins on February 22,2008, and he survives.
Other survivors include her daughter, Carrie Elizabeth (husband, Jason) Richardson of Shelbyville; sons, Nick (wife, Sheri) Lay of Rhonda, North Carolina, Rick (wife, Donna) Daniels of St. Paul and Scott (wife, Judy) Daniels of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and 16 grandchildren, including Mylinda, Sami, Scott, Jacob, Olivia and Cati, all of Shelbyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Joyce Graham.
She was a member of Shelbyville Community Church, where she was a very active member, including participating in the children's ministry.
Mrs. Robbins had been the secretary for PFM Truck Care Center in Indianapolis for the past 13 years.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St., and from 10 am to 11 am Thursday at Shelbyville Community Church, 720 North 325 East, in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 11 am Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the church, with Pastors Brad Davis, Jason Chenoweth and Thurman Adams officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
