Linda R. Johnson

Linda R. Johnson, 64, of Gwynneville passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at her home. Born October 27, 1943, in Franklin County, she was the daughter of David Marvin and Anita (Anderson) Chaddon. Survivors include her sons, James "Travis" Johnson of Fishers and "James" David Johnson of Carmel; brothers, David Chaddon and Daniel (wife, Beth) Chaddon, both of Brookville; sisters, Audrey Pennington of Metamora and Virginia Chaddon of Morristown; and grandsons, James Reece Johnson, Owen Christopher Johnson and Trey Allen Johnson, all of Fishers. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Johnson resided in Gwynneville for the past 40 years. She retired from Western and Southern Insurance in 2003 and was employed in the Shelbyville Wal-Mart floral department for the last three years. Ms. Johnson graduated in 1961 from Brookville High School, where she had been a member of the cheerleading squad. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Morristown. Wisitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6030 W 62nd St., Indianapolis, Indiana 46278.
