Louella Watson

Louella (Tracy) Watson, 93, of Fountaintown, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born September 7, 1921, in Fountaintown, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Grace (Campbell) Tracy. On May 3, 1941, she married her husband of 57 years, Harry B. Watson, Jr., and he preceded her in death on October 13, 1998. Louella is survived by her son, Harry B. “Duke” Watson III and wife, Patricia, of Fountaintown; daughter, Brenda Sue Hodgen and husband, Steven, of Fountaintown; grandchildren, Christine Shull, Amy Hasenkamp, Stephanie Hardwick and John Hodgen; and great-grandchildren, Britney, Alec, Taylor, Grace, Olivia, Kailey, Emily, Wyatt and Wade. She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Asahel Tracy, Harold Tracy, Beryl Tracy, Jim Tracy and Loren Tracy; and a sister, Helen Nugent. Louella graduated from Morristown High School in 1939. She was a member of Fountaintown Christian Church and the Mite Society. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 23, 2015 at Fountaintown Christian Church, 797 W. Brookville Rd. in Fountaintown, IN. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will be at Concord Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial contributions may be made to Fountaintown Christian Church.
