Lowell Curtis “Buddy” Armstrong II, 52, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Especially Kidz in Shelbyville.
Buddy was born July 30, 1961, in Shelbyville, the son of Lowell Armstrong and Linda (Neeb) Beach.
He is survived by his father, Lowell Armstrong and wife, Judy of Shelbyville; mother, Linda Beach of Shelbyville; sisters, Susan Armstrong of Shelbyville, Carol Lane of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands and Barbara Richey and husband, Scott of Milroy; brother, Roger Armstrong of Shelbyville; stepbrothers, Scott Patton and Doug Hasecuster and wife, Amanda, both of Shelbyville, and Craig Patton and wife, Kelly of Indianapolis; and stepsister, Beth LaSota and husband, Frank of Indianapolis; 16 nieces and nephews; nine great-nieces and great-nephews; and his second family, the staff at Especially Kidz.
Buddy was preceded in death by his grandparents.
He was an honorary graduate of Shelbyville High School Class of 1980.
Buddy was a member of First Christian Church.
He was formerly employed at Shares, Inc.
Buddy never had an enemy and loved everyone.
He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers and Cincinnati Reds. He loved all types of music.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Rev. Bill Horner officiating.
Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville.
