Lucy Ann Stewart, 72, of Shelbyville, died Sunday, April 23, 2006.
Born March 27, 1934, in Oneida, Ky., she was the daughter of Johnny and Sarah (Couch) Davidson. She married Forester Stewart on Oct. 6, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 2005.
Survivors include four sons, Larry (wife, LaDonna) Stewart, Lynn (wife, Rachael) Stewart and Wayne Stewart, all of Shelbyville, and Wendell Stewart of Flat Rock; one daughter, Trish (husband, Mark) Kremer of Shelbyville; son-in-law Ernie Nash of Shelbyville; three sisters, Pearl Davidson of Corbin, Ky., Lilly Coffey of Arizona and Shirley Spurlock of Boggstown; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Janice Nash; one son, Lonnie Wayne Stewart; five brothers, Squire, Tarey, Garnett, James Henry and one infant brother; and three sisters, Lonzie, Mary Frances and Beck.
Mrs. Stewart was a homemaker.
She was a member of Trinity Holiness Taber-nacle.
Mrs. Stewart loved gardening and cooking.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Jerome Baker officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
