Lynda Rae Tucker Clarke (Creager), 72, Crawfordsville, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2009. She was born May 29, 1937 in Minot, North Dakota to parents Lawrence and Emma Creager (deceased). She spent most of her childhood years in Pierre, South Dakota with her brothers Mark Creager (deceased) and Joel Creager of Colorado. She graduated from T.F. Riggs High School in 1955. Lynda married in 1955 to Charles O. Tucker (deceased) and raised their family in Danville, IN. She remarried in 1978 to Neil Clarke and spent a number of years living in Rapid City, South Dakota. She worked as a clerical assistant in the research department at Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis (IUPUI) and as an office assistant in the South Dakota Attorney General?s Office. Furthermore, she spent time as the director of the Adam?s House Bed & Breakfast in Deadwood, South Dakota. She is survived by her three children Lisa Farmer Mathena of Shelbyville, IN; Kelly West of New Ross, IN; and Brent Tucker of Tuscaloosa, AL. Her eight grandchildren include Donald Farmer III, Patrick Farmer, Michael Farmer, Brooke West Fassnacht, Jonathan West, Elise Tucker, Jennifer Tucker and Joshua Tucker as well as 15 great grandchildren. A sunset memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2009, at St. Augustine Episcopal Church in Danville, Indiana. Flowers maybe sent to the Church at 600 N. Washington, St. in Danville, IN 46122 or donations to the American Cancer Society.
