Mae F. McCormick Lusk, 93, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville.
She was born November 15, 1920, in Shelby County, the daughter of Charles B. and Anna M. (Gallagher) Marsh. She married James C. McCormick on May 14, 1943, and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1976. On April 14, 1994, she married William B. Lusk, and he preceded her in death in 2003.
Mae is survived by her cousins, Tom Gallagher and wife, Debbie, of Shelbyville, Melissa Wiley of Chicago, Melanie Bachmeyer and husband, John, of Columbus and Joe Riemenschneider of Shelbyville.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Marsh; and a sister, Mary Marsh.
Mae was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Alter Society.
She retired in 1989 as a bookkeeper.
Friends and family may gather from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway in Shelbyville.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Shelbyville.
