Margaret A. "Margie" Stevens, 81, of Shelbyville, formerly of Bullhead City, Ariz., died Saturday, March 24, 2007, at Major Hospital.
Born July 27, 1925, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Dolph and Violet Cox.
Survivors include a son, David E. (wife, Karol) Relford of Gladstone, Mo.; a sister, Maxine Thompson of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Jenny A. (husband, Glenn) Brown of Fort Mohave, Ariz., David R. (wife, Merci) Brown of Hemet, Calif., Daniel S. (wife, Sandy) Brown of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Dave A. Relford of Spring, Texas, and Annie K. (husband, Jason) Casebolt of Kansas City, Mo.; eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karan Burton; a brother, Merle Cox; and a sister, Wana Hardin.
Mrs. Stevens was retired from the United States Postal Service.
A time to heal will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Steve Ray officiating.
Interment will be at Palm Mortuary in Henderson, Nev., where she will rest next to her daughter, Karan.
