Margaret L. Bratton

Margaret L. Bratton, 82, of Morristown, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born Dec. 21, 1923, she was the daughter of Arvil and Ethel (Cox) Morphew. She married James W. "Bill" Bratton, and he preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Billy DeWayne (wife, Tina) Bratton of Fairland; two daughters, Debra (husband, David) Longwell of Morristown and Diana (husband, Stephen) Light of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren, Billy Bratton, Sandy Light, Lisa Taylor, Jason Light, Jim Longwell, Andy Longwell and Angela Longwell; and eight great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary, Thelma and Martha; and four brothers, Dewey, Thomas, Cecil and Otis. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chester Corlette officiating. Burial will be in Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
