Margaret Lucille Weaver

July 3, 1925 — January 2, 2014

Margaret Lucile Weaver, of Shelbyville passed away January 2nd 2014 at the age of 88. She was born July 3rd, 1925 in English, Indiana, the daughter of John and Delsie (Young) Stocklin. Margaret is survived by a son, Mike Weaver; daughter-in-law, Margaret Weaver; brother, Ray Stocklin; sisters, Marjorie Smith and Mary McNabb; three grandchildren, Kevin O’Neal, Julie Philpott and Amanda Rood Weaver; four great grandchildren, Lucy Philpott, Chase Wardrip, Kendall O’Neal and Kadence O’Neal; one great great grandchild, Lilith Philpott and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph, Robert and Roy Stocklin. Margaret was a member of the Vine Street Methodist Church. She graduated from Boggstown High School in 1944. Margaret retired from TRW Cinch in 1985, after 28 years of service. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2014 at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Boggstown Cemetery in Shelby County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Indiana Chapter, 50 E. 91st St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240.
