Marilyn Ann Rothkopf, 86, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Greenfield Healthcare in Greenfield.
She was born September 24, 1931, in Tipton, the daughter of Herman C. and Lela May (Peil) Bruns. On October 27, 1951, she married her husband of 63 years, William G. Rothkopf, and he preceded her in death on August 23, 2015.
Marilyn is survived by her niece, Melissa Miller and husband, Trent, of Morristown; nephew, Pete Gambrel and wife, Jennifer, of Charlottesville; great-nieces, Brittany Munden and Abbigail Miller; great-great-niece, Ellie Sue Tompkins; and great-great-nephew, Gentry Cash Tompkins.
In addition to William, Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Elinor S. Gambrel.
Marilyn graduated from Warren Central High School in 1949.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Greenfield.
Marilyn was formerly a nursing assistant for Dr. James Garrison in Cumberland.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Faith Lutheran Church, 200 W. McKenzie Road, in Greenfield.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the church, with Pastor William O’Connor officiating.
Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
