Marilyn Kay Elza, 57, of Shelbyville, passed away, Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.
She was born April 10. 1956, in Guilford, the daughter of Thomas and Irene (Redding) Lozier. On October 11, 2013, her husband of twenty-five years, Robert Elza, passed away.
Survivors include her mother of Lawrenceburg; sons, Christopher Lozier of Carlisle and Joseph Elza of Shelbyville; daughter, Jillian Elza Dunn and husband, Cory, of Shelbyville; brother, Thomas Lozier Jr. and wife, Cindy of Lawrenceburg; sisters, Barbara Teroit and husband, Wayne, of Galveston, Texas and Brenda Morehead of Lawrenceburg; grandchildren, Trenton Harris, Wyatt Dunn, Taylor Elza, Jacob Elza and Tramen Harmon.
She was also preceded in death by her father.
Marilyn received an associate’s degree from Ivy Tech Community College.
She was a Qualified Medication Aide in Dillsboro.
Marilyn enjoyed music and reading.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 pm, Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 4 pm, Sunday at the funeral home.
