Mark R. Riddell

Mark R. Riddell, 49, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. He was born March 9, 1966, in Providence, Rhode Island, the son of James and Dorothy (Dellorfano) Riddell. Mark is survived by his mother, Dorothy Riddell of Wadsworth, Ohio; brother, Steven Riddell and wife, Sandra, of El Centro, California; and a sister, Paula Riddell of San Diego, California. He was preceded in death by his father. Mark graduated from Wadsworth High School in 1984, and received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron in 1991. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Mark was a mechanical engineer. He enjoyed history and miniatures. Private family services will be observed. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
