Mark W. Williams, 34, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, Aug. 25, 2005, at Major Hospital.
Born Aug. 5, 1971, in Shelbyville, he was the son of Luke and Mary Pat (Muehlenkamp) Williams. He married Robin K. Pressler on June 4, 2005, and she survives.
Other survivors include his parents of Shelbyville; grandparents, Tom and Martha Muehlenkamp of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Wilma F. Williams of Shelbyville; and good friend, John Foltz of Shelbyville.
Mr. Williams was president of Williams Industries for the past two years. Prior to that he served as plant manager. He had dedicated his life to his employees and his family.
He graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1989; from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering; and from Purdue University, with a master's degree in civil engineering. He also had attended University of Texas, in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Williams was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Alpha Tau Omega. Fraternity.
He was an avid softball player and golfer.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m., with the rosary recited at 2:45 p.m., Monday at Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, Freeman Family Funeral Homes, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 125 E. Broadway St., with the Rev. Don A. Quinn officiating.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
