Marsha Mae Callahan

Marsha Mae Callahan, 73, of Morristown passed away Sunday, August 26, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 19, 1945 in Rushville, the daughter of Calvin and Oda Mae (Meyer) Smith. On May 16, 1998, she married William L. “Bill” Callahan, and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2014. Marsha is survived by her mother of Moose Lake, Minnesota; son, James Parker and wife, Cory, of Rushville; daughter, Jodie Mae Rogers and husband, Richard, of Rushville; sister, Glenda Eschenbach and husband, William, of Moose Lake, Minnesota; granddaughters, Adina Parker, Josephine Tungate, Cierra Mae Ray and husband, Justin, and Daisy Mae Rogers; great-grandson, Paxton Ray; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to Bill, Marsha was preceded in death by her father; and sister, Pamela B. Smith. Marsha graduated from Rushville High School in 1963, and Indiana Business College in 1966. She attended Morristown Christian Church. Marsha retired from IPC/Freudenberg NOK as a press operator, with over 25 years of service. She enjoyed quilting, crafts and shopping. Marsha loved being a grandmother. Visitation will be from 10 to noon Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at noon Thursday, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush County Animal Shelter, 223 S.
