Mary Jane Lawton-Totten

Mary Jane Lawton-Totten, 82, of Fairland passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 at Waldron Health and Rehab. Born August 19, 1929 in Shelby County, she was the daughter of Floyd E. and Luella Elizabeth (Miles) Bradley. She married John H. Totten on May 7, 1987, and he preceded her in death on July 12, 1988. Survivors include her son, Paul V. Lawton of Summerville, South Carolina; one sister of Fairland; grandson, Nicholas Ryan Lawton; granddaughter, Courtney Jennifer Renee Lawton; and great-grandson, Coleman Jackson Lawton. She was also preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 am, Friday, August 26, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 11 am Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairland Cemetery.
