Mary Louise Davis

Mary Louise Davis, 89, of Fountaintown passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 in Morristown Manor. Born October 31, 1919 in Shelby County, Indiana to Harry Logan and Elizabeth (Bassett) Logan. She married Gerald F. "Bob" Davis on September 27, 1940, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2003. Survivors include cousin, Katharine Harris of Shelbyville; close friends, Karen Shelton of Fountaintown, Helen Amos of Fountaintown and Charles and Connie Caudill of Fountaintown. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Hazel Eck. Mrs. Davis was a member of the Morristown Christian Church, where she was pianist and organist. She bowled in different leagues in Morristown and Shelbyville. Mrs. Davis was a graduate of Moral Township High School in 1937. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Frazier Chapel of Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 124 E. North St., Morristown, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the funeral home, with Bill Farmer officiating. Interment will be in New Palestine Cemetery.
