Mary Lucille Hoyt, 90, of Shelbyville passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012 at Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Born April 16, 1921, in Connersville, she was the daughter of O. Verl and Blanche Eva (Tate) Creek. She married Edward K. Hoyt on March 6, 1937, and he preceded her in death on December 20, 1971.
Survivors include her son, Jon Paul (wife, Laura) Hoyt of Gaylord, Michigan; daughter, Sandra K. (husband, Mike) Osborne of Taylorsville, Kentucky; daughter-in-law, Anna Hoyt of Shelbyville; and 11 grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Jerry Duane Hoyt.
Mrs. Hoyt had formerly worked at A & P as a cashier, in 1983 she retired from Indiana Bell Telephone Company, after 33 years of service.
She attended West Street United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be at 12 pm, Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Forest Hill Cemetery, 704 Morris Avenue in Shelbyville, with Pastor Perry Richards officiating.
Services are entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
