Mary Ann Sullivan

Mary Ann Sullivan, 86, of Fairland, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born November 10, 1936, in Indianapolis, the daughter of John Coomler and Ruth (Swain) Storm.  On March 27, 1955, she married her husband of 67 years, David Lee Sullivan, and he survives.

In addition to David, Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Patti King and husband, Jeff, of Raleigh, North Carolina; son, Mike Sullivan of Fairland; brother, Larry Storm of Indianapolis; sister, Teresa Storm of Lafayette; grandchildren, Chris King and wife, Kylie, Christina Anderson and husband, Steven, Jessica Perry, Nick Sullivan, Ruby Sullivan and Gretchen Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Patrick Anderson, Audrey Anderson, Alaina King, Everett King and Vinn King; and several  nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, who raised her, Wayne Storm; brothers, Bill Coomler, Jim Coomler and Merrill Wayne Storm; and sister, LaDonna Storm.

She graduated in 1954 from Moral Township High School.

Mary Ann was a member of New Life United Methodist Church.

She was also a member of Indiana Extension Homemakers, Shelby County Extension Homemakers and the Past Presidents Club.

Mary Ann was a 4-H club leader in Shelby County, for over 20 years.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing, making baskets and reading.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to Noon, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at New Life United Methodist Church, 6145 N 400 W, Fairland, Indiana 46126.

Funeral services will follow at Noon, at the church, with Rev. Jolita Erbele officiating.

Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery in Shelby County.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the New Life United Methodist Church.
