Mary Tague

Mary Francis Tague, 67, of Shelbyville, passed away on, February 24, 2025, at her home.

She was born March 3, 1957, in Springfield, Tennessee, the daughter of Fred Hansel Simmons.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Brandy Buck of Franklin, and Melissa Hall and husband, Gary, of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Alysia, Chelsea, Helen, Noah and Zach; great-grandchildren, McKenna, Josiah, Carter, Kinley, Navy, Shayla and Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Ann Murray; and brother, Kenneth Simmons.

Mary was formerly line cook at McDonald’s for over 30 years and Taco Bell for over 20 years.

She was a member of Life of Love Church in Martinsville.

Mary also leaves behind her cat “Miss Kitty”.

A Celebration of Mary’s Life will be from 2 to 5 pm, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the family residence, 1909 Meridian St in Shelbyville.

Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
