Michael Allen Tuttle, 21, of Okinawa, Japan, formerly of Fountaintown, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014 while stationed at Camp Kinser.
He was born October 26, 1993, in Shelbyville, the son of Michael S. and Misty D. (Redd) Tuttle.
Michael is survived by his parents of Fountaintown; sisters, Maronika Tuttle, Bobbie Tuttle and Brittany Tuttle, all of Fountaintown; brothers, Cody Tuttle and Justin Tuttle, both of Fountaintown; paternal grandmother, Sue Schutt and husband, David, of Fountaintown; maternal grandfather, Robert Redd of Fountaintown; and maternal grandmother, Sheryl Redd of Flatrock.
He graduated from Morristown High School in 2012.
Michael has been enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps for two years. He was currently serving at Camp Kinser in Okinawa, Japan, and has been a ground electronics transmission systems maintainer for the last year.
He attended Faith Baptist Church in Morristown.
Michael loved everyone and cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2014 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Morristown Christian Church, 209 S. Washington St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with Pastor Wayne Scott officiating.
Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
