Michael L. Sorrells

Michael L. "Mike" Sorrells, 50, of Shelbyville died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Major Hospital. Born Jan. 6, 1957, in Lebanon, he was the son of C. Wilbur and Georganna (Cannady) Sorrells. Survivors include his father, of Shelbyville; sons, Ryan Woolridge of California, Sheba Sorrells of Shelbyville and Robert Losey of Indianapolis; daughters, Heather Woolridge of the State of Washington and Crystle Woolridge of Shelbyville; brother, John Sorrells of New Ross; sister, Kathi Moran of Lakeland, Fla.; two grandchildren; and girlfriend, Rhonda Beasley of Shelbyville. He was preceded in death by his mother. Mr. Sorrells was a private contract painter. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Broadway Chapel, 232 W. Broadway St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Corlis Dees II officiating. Cremation will follow.
