Michael Walter Kuzminski, 59, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
He was born October 22, 1954 in Ellis Island, New York, the son of Walter and Deloris Kuzminski. He married Judith A. “Judy” Weaver on May 6, 1990, and she survives.
Other survivors include his step-son, Christopher Wainscott and wife, Debbie of Greenfield; grandchildren, Madalyne Wainscott and Jarolyn Wainscott; brother, Stephen Kuzminski and wife, Gloria of Hauppauge, New York; sister-in-law, Carole Jean Fine of Greenfield; brothers-in-law, John Weaver and wife, Connie, of Kokomo, and James Lynch and Fred Lynch, both of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Michael graduated from Long Island High School in 1972.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in supply and command, retiring in 1997.
Michael was a member of the American Legion.
He enjoyed collecting records 45’s and 78’s. and he was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan.
Michael was a computer guru.
He also leaves behind his dogs, Charlie and Oreo.
Visitation will be from 11 to noon, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 11220 E. 30th St. in Indianapolis.
Funeral services will be at noon, Wednesday at the church, with Bishop Shawn Good officiating.
Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Greenfield
Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
