Nicholas Bradley Meriwether, 34, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his residence.
He was born June 17, 1984, in Natchitoches, Louisiana, the son of Nicky and Rhonda Lee (Bradley) Meriwether. On July 4, 2013, he married Vanessa Lynn Manlove, and she survives.
In addition to Vanessa, Bradley is survived by his parents of Shelbyville; brother, Kasey Meriwether and wife, Shirlee, of Shelbyville; grandmother, Emily Meriwether of Independence, Missouri; niece, Sophia Meriwether; and mother-in-law, Sandra Manlove of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Nick Meriwether; maternal grandparents, Odell and Gladys Bradley; and father-in-law, David Manlove.
Bradley graduated from Morristown High School in 2003, and continued his education in the emergency medical field.
He had been in Emergency Medical Services for over 10 years, and became a paramedic in 2013.
Bradley was an Eagle Scout.
He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to play the guitar.
Bradley also leaves behind his beloved pets, Squirel, Piper, Pikku and Bullwinkle.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville, with the rosary recited at 3:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 4218 E. Michigan Road in Shelbyville.
Interment will be at St. Vincent Catholic Cemetery.
