Norma E. Kraft, 93, of Morristown passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield.
Born March 7, 1918, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Theodore and Gertrude G. (Haeberle) Kraft.
Survivors include her cousin, William L. Haeberle of Bloomington; the children of Patti Millis, Dan and David Millis; and close friends, the Everhart family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a dear friend she helped raise, Patti Millis and Patti's husband, Richard.
Miss Kraft was a former teacher, who taught for five years at Wayne Township Elementary Number 13 in Indianapolis, 10 years at Morristown Elementary and 27 years at Hendricks Elementary in Shelbyville. She retired from Shelbyville Central School in 1980.
She received her education from Maywood Grade School, graduated from Ben Davis High School and obtained a bachelor of science degree from Butler University.
Miss Kraft was a member of Morristown Christian Church, American Bell Association, Retired Teachers Association and Morgan Horse Association.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will follow 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Fred Hickman officiating.
Interment will be in Hanover Cemetery in Shelby County.
