Norma Mae Clark

Norma Mae Clark, 92, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Heritage House Convalescent Center. Born May 25, 1918, in Jackson Township, Shelby County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry and Clemmer (Shutt) Emerick. She married Emil Clark on August 6, 1938, and he preceded her in death on May 1, 1995. Survivors include her daughter, Rosamond (husband, David) Lux of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Thomas (wife, Joy) Lux, Brenda (husband, David) Servies and Joseph (wife, Robin) Lux; and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Servies, Adam Servies, Bradley Servies, Eric Lux, LeAnn Lux, Katie Lux and Hannah Lux. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Myron Emerick. Mrs. Clark was a lifelong resident of Shelby County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. Mrs. Clark was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Bryan Trotter and Rev. Robert Campbell officiating. Interment will be in Miller Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 4449 S. Smithland Road, Shelbyville, Indiana 46176.
