Olive "Louise" Browning, 88, of Shelbyville passed away Saturday, May 19, 2012 at her residence.
Born June 5, 1923 in Fort McClellan, Alabama, she was the daughter of John Walter and Goldie May (Voiles) Bray. She married Lewis Browning on February 9, 1951, and he preceded her in death on February 2, 2007.
Survivors include her son, Larry (wife, Connie) Browning of Shelbyville; daughter, Sharon Kay (husband, George) Roser of Memphis, Tennessee; sister, Salina Mooney of Alameda, Calfornia; grandchildren, Carrie (husband, Jesse) Jack of Carmel, Adam (wife, Maria) Browning and Bess Browning, both of Indianapolis, Dusty Roser of Brownsburg, Kelly (husband, Henry) Foster and Wendy Roser, both of New Castle; and six great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, John Brantley; sister, Juanita Lux; and brothers, William Bray and Charles Bray.
Mrs. Browning was employed at KT Corporation from 1970 until retiring in 1986.
She was a member of Crossroad Community Church, the Eagles Lodge, American Legion Auxiliary in Shelbyville and St. Joe Social Club.
Mrs. Browning volunteered at Major Hospital Gift Shop.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the funeral home, with Pastor Andy Lee officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
