Patricia Ann Edwards

Patricia Ann Edwards, 82, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Ashford Place Health Campus in Shelbyville. She was born December 14, 1934 in Stonefort, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence Delbert and Eva Mae (Hord) Bryan. On June 13, 1953, she married Finis Edwards, and he preceded her in death on October 19, 2014. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Edwards of Shelbyville and Tawnya Williams and husband, Tom, of Flat Rock; sister, Phyllis Catherine Thompson of Marion, Illinois; and nephews, David Lee Thompson and wife, Tina, of Illinois, and James Rick Thompson of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Samuel Alonzo Bryan; and brother-in-law, James W. Thompson. Patricia graduated from Carrier Mills High School in Carrier Mills, Illinois in 1952. She enjoyed sewing, reading and canning. As per Patricia’s request no services will be observed. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S.
