Patricia Kay Braunagel

Patricia Kay Braunagel, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away, Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 18, 1938, in Shelbyville, the daughter of Orville Dillard and Mary Catherine (Slusser) Rainey. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Kelly West and Paige Whitson, both of Shelbyville; sons, Todd Weintraut of Titusville, Florida and Michael Miller of Laurel, Maryland; grandchildren, Kaleigh, Lisa, Patty, Jenna, Junie, John, Justin, Lacey and Michelle; and a great-granddaughter, Kamri. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lowell Gene Rainey; sister, Marcia Martin; and a grandson, Kris. Patricia graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1956. She was formerly a receptionist for Dr. Lapp in Orlando, Florida, retiring in 1999. Private services will be observed by her family. Services have been entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
