Patricia M. McCarty

Patricia M. Gatton McCarty, 69, of Flatrock, Indiana, formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. McCarty was born on April 3, 1945 in Owensboro, KY to the late George and Evelyn (Goff) Ward. She loved music, shopping and she had a love for all animals, but especially her cats. She was preceded in death by her late husband, John Bernard Gatton and her daughter, Tracy Dolores Gatton. Survivors include her husband, Richard McCarty of Flat Rock, IN , her daughter, Therese (Keith) Payne of Hawesville, two sons, Joe (Cheryl ) Gatton of Owensboro and Jeffrey Gatton of Flatrock, IN, a stepson, Eric (Belinda) McCarty of Fischers, IN, ten grandchildren, one great grandchild and many stepgrandchildren. Services will be held at St. Williams Catholic Church in Knottsville on Thursday at 11:00 am. Visitation is 9:00-10:45 am before the service.
