Patsy "Pat" Faye McVey

Patsy "Pat" Faye McVey, 73, of Fountaintown, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2009 at her residence. Born June 2, 1936 in Lynch, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Clarence and Elsie (Boggs) Campbell. She married Richard Ronald McVey, Sr. on June 21, 1955, and he survives. Other survivors include her sons, Richard Ronald (wife, Vicky) McVey and Timothy "Tim" Lee (wife, Sherry) McVey, both of Indianapolis, daughter, Patricia Anne (husband, Jeff) Bellinger of Shirley; brothers, Billy Ray Campbell of Florida, Monty "Tip" Campbell and Ross Campbell, both of Buffalo, New York, Larry Campbell of Louisville, Kentucky; sisters, Katie Evans of Tennessee, Christine Pace of Harlan, Kentucky, Susamay Todd of Las Vega, Nevada; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Vivian Stagnolia. Mrs. Vey graduated from Lynch High School in 1954. She was a homemaker and loved gardening and NASCAR. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St., Morristown, Indiana Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
