Paul Leroy Merrick Jr.

Paul Leroy Merrick Jr., 42, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 in Chesterfield, Indiana. He was born on December 1, 1970, to Paul Leroy Sr. and Geraline Ann “Jerry” (Alvey) Merrick. Paul is survived by a sister, Tina; brother, Aaron; step-sisters, Ida Sue, Eva Jean and Kathy Lee; aunts, Audrey, Rose, Marilyn, Bonnie, Susie, Linda, Dorothy and Mary; and uncles, Danny, Richard, Kenneth, Sam and Garnett; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by eight uncles. He had formerly worked at Raintree Assembly in New Castle. Paul enjoyed bowling and had participated in the Special Olympics. Memorial Services will be conducted at a later date. Services entrusted to Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
