Paula B. Siefert, 74, of Shelbyville, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Major Hospital in Shelbyville. Born September 4, 1933 in Shelbyville, to Paul H. and Mary (Keith) Siefert. Survivors include her aunts, Morricena Mault of Greenwood, Indiana and Martha Keith, of Punta Gorda, Florida; and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ms. Siefert was a lifelong resident of Shelbyville. She had been a legal secretary in Indianapolis, more recently at Locke Reynolds, retiring in 2000. Prior to that she was an airline stewardess for Eastern Airline for a couple of years. Ms. Siefert enjoyed horses and loved working in the back yard. She graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1951 and attended Ball State University. Ms. Siefert was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and St. Anne's Altar Society. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Chris Craig officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Shelby County,110 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN 46176; Shelby County Cancer Association, 126 N. Harrison St. Shelbyville, IN 46176; or Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter, 705 Hale Road, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
