Pauline E. Ramey

Pauline E. Ramey, 87, of Fountaintown passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at her residence. Born February 13, 1923, in Jefferson County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Verna and Nellie Mae (Land) Hall. She married Woodrow Wilson Ramey on August 23, 1942 and he preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Charles (wife, Barbara) Ramey of Fairland and O.D. (wife, Susan)Ramey of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter, Sharon Wells of Fountaintown and Juanita Sampson of Ohio; sister, Nedra King of Madison; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Robert Ramey. Mrs. Ramey worked in several area nursing homes as a Certified Nurses Aid, retiring from the Marion County Home. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 1 pm, with Thomas Ramey Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery.
