Phillip Glenn Kuhn, 63, of Shelbyville passed away Friday, February 6, 2009 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
Born June 10, 1945 in Shelbyville to Willard C. Kuhn and Mary Ellen (Milleson) Kuhn.
Survivors include his sons, Casey J. (wife, Vickie) Kuhn of Great Falls, Montana, Benjamin S. Kuhn of Edgewood, Kentucky, and Brent Ensminger of Columbus, Indiana; daughter, Nicole Miles of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother, Doug Kuhn of Shelbyville; sisters, Marty Pool of Crawfordsville, Indiana and Mary C. (husband, David) Albin of Cumming, Georgia; grandsons, Jesse and Cody; six nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father on May 13, 1998 and his mother on April 2, 1989.
Mr. Kuhn was a graduate of Shelbyville High School in 1963.
He was a Dairy Farmer, retiring in the early 1990's.
Mr. Kuhn played Varsity basketball, baseball and softball. He showed dairy cattle at the 4-H fair; and showed and groomed dairy cattle professionally.
He was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at Carmony-Ewing Chapel of Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 819 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, Indiana.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home, with Pastor Robb Barlow officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
