Phyllis Ann Toon, 71, of Morristown, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, at St. Vincent North Hospital, in Indianapolis.
Born Aug. 12, 1934, in Finley, she was the daughter of the late Ernest Columbus and Ethel Flossie Marie (Beahunke) Sleeth. She married James Carter Toon on Sept. 3, 1954, and he survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Mark Henry (wife, Dee Dee) Toon and Mike Toon, both of Morristown; two daughters, Sherri Marie (husband, Gale) Kleiman of New Palestine, and Martha Ann (husband, Jeff) Jarman of Rushville; one sister, Judy Smith of Martinsville; two brothers, Bob Sleeth of Greenfield and Bill Sleeth of New Whiteland; and six grandchildren, Tony, Brandon, Daniel, Marcus, James D. and Kayla.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Sleeth.
Mrs. Toon was a homemaker and was employed at L.S. Ayres later in life.
She graduated in 1952 from New Palestine High School.
Mrs. Toon was a member of Red Hat's Society; Order of Eastern Star No. 119 and American Legion Auxiliary No. 102, both in Morristown. She had attended different churches.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating.
Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, in Morristown.
