Phyllis Sue Eads, 77, of Shelbyville died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, at Heritage House Convalescent Center.
Born Feb. 17, 1929, in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of Aris F. and Velma Lucille (Treon) Talbert. She married Donald E. Eads, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Christi (husband, Steve) Drake of Shelbyville; two sons, Kirk (wife, Tresa) Eads and Jeff (Diana) Eads, both of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Mandy Bunton, Joe Dickman, Will Dickman, Mark Drake, Sean Drake, Mariah Theobald, Morgan Eads, Maressa Eads, Taylor Eads, Lisa Compton, Amy Hisgen, Aaron Eads, Alex Eads and Adam Eads; and great-grandchildren, Christian Dickman, Luke Dickman, Matthew Bunton, Sam Bunton, Jackie Compton, Mitchell Compton, Alexis Hisgen and Camden Hisgen.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Brad Eads; and two brothers.
Mrs. Eads was a lifelong Shelbyville resident.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Eads graduated in 1947 from Shelbyville High School.
She was a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma and two bridge clubs and attended First Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Eads loved to play cards.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Freeman Family Funeral Homes, Carmony-Ewing Harrison Street Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary W. Huffman officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
