Polly Jane Joyce (Campbell) Tiffany, 81, of Mooreland, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, in Shelbyville.
She was born January 24, 1941, in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of Pole and Ezella (Williams) Campbell. On February 11, 1961, she married her husband of 61 years, John Clayton Tiffany, and he survives.
In addition to John, Joyce is survived by her daughters, Cheryl A. Roth and husband, David V., of Indianapolis, and Tracy L. Downing and husband, Scott A., of Morristown; grandchildren; Matthew D. Coleman and wife, Britny, Christopher J. Stone and Kat, Lyndsey N. Puckett and husband, Seth, Kaylee G. Downing and Eric, Meghan H. Downing and Cora L. Downing; great-grandchildren, Grace Coleman, Bruce Coleman, Dekker Coleman, Tucker Coleman, Lola Coleman, Logan Puckett and Lily Puckett; brothers, Jimmy Campbell of Indianapolis, Irvin Campbell and wife, Lorene, of Mooresville, Arlie Campbell of Indianapolis, and Edgar Campbell of Southport; sisters-in-law, Janice Campbell of Indianapolis, Shirley Campbell and Maude Campbell, both of Mooresville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Russell J. Coleman; and brothers, Amos Campbell, Estill Campbell and Henry Campbell.
She graduated in 1959 from M.C. Napier High School and attended Business School.
Joyce was a member of the Buck Creek Christian Church.
She was a business woman and worked in hotel hospitality. She owned and operated Joyce Tiffany Interiors, retiring in the 1980’s.
Joyce loved her family and cherished the time she spent creating lasting memories.
She enjoyed floral design, decorating and flower gardening.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2022, at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Frazier Chapel, 124 E. North St. in Morristown.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Indiana Parkinson’s Foundation.
