R. Todd Deupree, 52, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Shelbyville passed away December 16, 2010 in Las Vegas.
Born October 24, 1958, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, he was the son of Dr. William D. and S. Darlene (Clark) Deupree.
Survivors include his sister, Dawn (husband, Keith) Branam of Shelbyville; brother, Brad Deupree of Las Vegas; nieces, Tara Branam (husband, Jeff Kieninger) of Shelbyville and Ashlee (husband, Douglas) Walker of Glendale, Arizona; nephews, Jade Branam of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Corey (wife, Melissa) Branam of Warsaw; and great-nieces and nephews, Kaden, Kali, Alexis, Austin, Madison and Adilyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Doug Deupree.
Mr. Deupree had resided in Las Vegas for the past 18 months.
He was currently an independent sales representative the Exactech Orthopaedics in the southern Nevada and southern California area, prior to which he was the Western regional manager for GETINGE USA Inc. for 10 years.
Mr. Deupree graduated from Shelbyville High School in 1976, received his bachelor of science degree in Business management from Indiana University in 1983 and his master of business administration and management degree in 1988 from Virginia Commonwealth University.
He was very active in volunteering at Big Brothers of Greater Richmond, Richmond Literacy Council and Meals on Wheels and Wheeler Mission, Second Helping in Indianapolis. He also was very active in and strongly supported the animal shelters.
A gathering of friends will be from 9 to 11 am, Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St.
Memorial services will be at 11 am at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Campbell officiating.
Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
