Reba F. Cochran, 93, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Morristown Manor in Morristown.
She was born March 3, 1922, in Shelby County, the daughter of the late Harry and Ruth (Greene) Knowlton. She married Kenneth Cochran on December 20, 1940, and he preceded her in death on October 27, 1983.
Reba is survived by her son, Jack Cochran and wife, Sharon, of Morristown; daughters, Karen Roe and husband, Bill, of Plainfield and Joyce Warfield and husband, Norman, of Morristown; daughter-in-law, Glenda Cochran of Morristown; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Russell Cochran; sister, Jeanne Losey; and twin granddaughters.
Reba graduated from Mt. Auburn High School in 1940.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she served as a Deaconist and on other committees.
Reba was also a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 316 Morristown, where she was a Past Matron and the Shelby County Historical Society.
She retired from Link Belt in 1976, with 12 years of service.
Reba enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing euchre and solitaire.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2015 at Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel, 819 S. Harrison St. in Shelbyville.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at the funeral home, with Rev. David Love officiating.
Interment will be at Concord Cemetery in Shelby County.
