Robert A. Schulthies

Robert Allen Schulthies, 53, of Shelbyville died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006. Born Sept. 4, 1953, in Indianapolis he was the son of Everett William "Bill" and Beverly "Bev" (Bair) Schulthies. He married Angela L. Worden on May 13, 2003, and she survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Tangody (husband, Kris) Fewell of Shelbyville; one son, Chevon Schulthies of Shelbyville; one brother, James William (wife, Judith) Schulthies of Shelbyville; one sister, Debra Schulthies of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren, Paige Fewell and Shelby Fewell. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Schulthies returned to Shelby County in 1986 after living in Texas. He was a master carpenter for the union Local 1775 in Columbus. Mr. Schulthies graduated in 1971 from Triton Central High School. He was a member of Fairland Baptist Church. Mr. Schulthies loved to ride his Harley motorcycle. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Fairland Baptist Church, 102 S. Meridian St. in Fairland. Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. today at the church, with the Rev. Jack Ivie officiating.
